Brevard County Tax Collector's Office Supports Local Veterans with Generous Donation to Tier One Service Dog Foundation

Tier One Service Dog Foundation is proud to recognize the Brevard County Tax Collector’s Office for its generous donation of more than $1,000 in support of our mission to provide trained psychiatric service dogs to disabled veterans at no cost.

Each year, employees of the Brevard County Tax Collector’s Office select nonprofit organizations to support through their charitable fundraising efforts. This past fiscal year, Tier One Service Dog Foundation was honored to be selected as one of two nonprofit beneficiaries.

A Community Coming Together for Veterans

Representatives Tammy and Kay from the Brevard County Tax Collector’s Office recently visited our Melbourne training location to personally deliver the donation and learn more about the work our foundation does throughout Brevard County.

During their visit, they had the opportunity to meet members of our team, connect with veterans participating in our program, and see firsthand the meaningful relationships between veterans and their service dogs.

The visit was an opportunity to share how community support directly contributes to the training, resources, and ongoing assistance that make our program possible.

Making a Difference, One Service Dog at a Time

At Tier One Service Dog Foundation, our mission is to improve the lives of disabled veterans by providing highly trained psychiatric service dogs that assist with challenges such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, and other service-related psychiatric disabilities.

Each service dog partnership represents more than $40,000 in training, equipment, and support, all provided at no cost to qualified veterans.

As a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization, we depend on the generosity of individuals, businesses, and community partners to continue this important work.

Contributions like the one received from the Brevard County Tax Collector’s Office help us provide the resources necessary to train service dogs, support veteran-handler teams, and expand our ability to serve more veterans in need.

Thank You to the Brevard County Tax Collector's Office

We extend our sincere appreciation to the employees of the Brevard County Tax Collector’s Office for selecting Tier One Service Dog Foundation as one of their charitable beneficiaries.

A special thank you to Tammy and Kay for taking the time to visit our facility, meet our veterans, and learn more about the impact of our program.

Your generosity demonstrates the incredible difference that local organizations and community members can make when they come together to support those who have served our country.

Thank you for investing in our veterans and helping us continue our mission.
